The New World Order … Thanks to a Compliant Media

The use of crises and staged events to manipulate world affairs is documented through history. How much of what we see and hear in the daily news is a genuine event and how much is the product of a ‘for-profit’ Public Relations exercise?

How is it that we have come from the early days of broadcasting and a plural press to a state of the news 'market' where a handful of people control much of what we see and hear every day. Ironically, it is now the norm for ‘Media Moguls’ to own several titles which appear to represent different viewpoints. Tony will examine how this practice is used to build an artificial consensus for a ‘Globalist Agenda’ in the face of ‘global terror' and ‘global financial crises'?

Most important of all Tony will examine how this ‘Stalinisation’ of the media affects the way we lead our lives and how we can stay sane in such an apparently schizophrenic, even psychotic world of public discourse. The answer comes through understanding that much of what we see and hear in contemporary media is nothing more than an elaborate illusion.

Tony Gosling was born in Gravesend, Kent in 1962 and raised in Bromley, South London. He studied Humanities at Bradford University, specialising in English Literature. After working for a few years in the family aviation business he decided to venture into radio journalism; volunteering at the GLC funded Radio Thamesmead in South East London, where he eventually became the full-time volunteer editor of community programmes. Tony left Radio Thamesmead in 1991 to take up become a researcher at Greater London Radio, the BBC's station for London.

In 1992 he moved to BBC Radio Solent as a reporter and then on to BBC Wiltshire Sound, where he worked as Salisbury reporter, relief presenter and documentary maker. When Wiltshire Sound had a 'cash crisis' the BBC decided they no longer required his services. Moving to the Lake District, he took a year out before moving to Oxford where he became involved with environmental campaigning; helping to organise land occupations in the mid to late 1990's. After moving to Bristol and getting into investigative journalism, Tony helped establish i-Contact Video Network and Ecovillage Network UK. Tony spent a year on the National Executive of the union and is currently Vice-Chair of the Bristol branch of the National Union of Journalists.

Tony is also the webmaster of an extremely informative website www.bilderberg.org, which John Read (Ex UK Foreign Secretary) asked him to take down as it was causing some difficulties in UK/US relations … Needless to say, it is still an extremely informative website!
